OUR VISION

To experience Church like we read about in the New Testament:
  • The early believers were broken, imperfect, and struggling to overcome difficulties of their everyday life. Yet, when they accepted the transformative love and power of Jesus Christ, they began down a road of discipleship. Discipleship in Jesus Christ means we not only become the hands and feet of Jesus Christ, but we also fulfill God’s will in every action and thought in our lives. We believe God is calling us to this very thing. To become disciples that when joined together in unity under Jesus Christ, allows us to be the same dynamic and effective group of people that actively serves our community. Our Vision is not to just read about the events that are recorded in the New Testament, but to experience everything God is calling us towards.

      Our Mission

To carry out the Mission of both the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.
Great Commandment
  • Jesus spent his entire life reflecting who He is and proclaiming the truth of what God’s Kingdom means for each of us. He confirms the greatest commandment in Mark 12:29-31.
  • Our desire is to live this command by loving God and devoting ourselves to God’s truth.  We continue forward by actively loving people by pouring out God’s love in One-Another Ministry.

Mark 12:29-31Jesus replied, “…The Lord our God is the one and only Lord. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.
Great Commission
  • Jesus gave His last command to go and make disciples. This is fundamental in who we are. Healthy churches produce, equip, and send out people to not only serve others but to share the good news of Jesus Christ with their community.
  • Jesus was committed to building a group of disciples that would shake the foundations of the culture around and we believe God is leading our congregation to do the very same thing. By fulfilling the Great Commission, we seek to make more and healthier disciples.

Matthew 28: 18-20: Jesus came and told his disciples, I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

Our Strategy

“To meet in large group settings for corporate teaching and worship, and gathering in small life-groups for personal ministry and prayer.”
  • The vision and mission is then planted and pursued through our strategy. Holding onto biblical principals of being a disciple for Christ can become very difficult in our culture. With mounting pressure, confusion, and uncertainty, it is imperative that fellow believers surround themselves with a community of God fearing men and women. The value of our time spent together on Sunday morning service, is so that we can worship, be nourished with biblical truth, and strengthen together on a weekly basis. We each have different areas of influence that God is calling us to affect for His Glory and Kingdom. In order to grow and mature deeper in that calling is by maintaining relationship with God’s people.

Hebrews 10:25 says “…let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another…”
  • While meeting once a week for corporate teaching and worship is essential for the larger body of believers, meeting personal ministry needs can be harder to accomplish in this setting. Our strategy does not stop there, in fact, it moves to life groups or house to house ministry. We are a cell based body of believers and place a high priority on meeting in small group settings. We believe this to be fundamental in personal ministry and growth. We read in Acts that the early disciples acted upon this life style and were able to minister and strengthen each other on a more personal and deeper level.

Acts 2:42-47All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer
